Caral is a citadel which was only relatively recently found, in the midle of the Peruvian dessert; 164kms north of Lima, capital of Peru.
This citadel is made up of many pyramids, with more to be discovered, and dates back nearly 3,000 years before Christ.
Comparable to the Mesapotamia Era or the Egyptian Pyramids.
