Located in Lydia, where the Cayster River (Kucuk Menderes) flows into the Aegean Sea (in modern day Turkey, the ruins of Ephesus are a major tourist attraction; especially for people travelling to Turkey by cruise ship, via Kusadasi and Izmir.
